I just had a photography tour with 2 clients from France at their first visit to Hong Kong last week. It was 6 hours tour around Hong Kong and Kowloon, from Quarry Bay in the east side of Hong Kong island to Sham Shui Po in Kowloon. I always love to take my clients off the main tourist spots and give ideas of what photos they could get from a particular spot. It’s always an incredible experience to meet with people from different culture and background but sharing the same passion in photography.
We started off the tour from the densely populated housing in Quarry Bay in the afternoon and continued to Sham Shui Po to explore another side of Hong Kong by doing street photography. We went to The Peak to enjoy the famous panorama of Hong Kong skyline at the blue hour. We were lucky to get clear visibility over the Victoria Harbour with amazing sky which creating mood on our photos.
The last spot we managed to visit was Central wherein we captured the light trails of traffic on Connaught Road. We had actually planned to go to Yau Ma Tei but the time was not right.
