I just completed a pre-wedding photoshoot which took place at some locations in Hong Kong for 2 days. The location on the first day was in Hong Kong Disneyland with casual style of photoshoot.
I managed to capture photos which look fun and light with natural expression. My aim was to get my client to enjoy the photoshoot while visiting the Disneyland.
I’m pretty happy with the overall photos despite the crowd of visitors at Disneyland which requires patient to get less people captured in the photos.
In the second day, It was a mixed concept of Nature and Cityscape of Hong Kong with formal outfit. It took place in Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront and Nam Sang Wai (Chinese: 南生圍) in Yuen Long. Both locations offer great view of Hong Kong’s nature and cityscape and easily to reach with public transport.
Quick tip for pre-wedding photoshoot in Hong Kong is to conduct it on weekdays instead of weekend. It’s worth to consider particularly if locations of your choice are popular for tourist or Hong Kong resident.
The choice of my gears in the photoshoot were:
- Canon 5D Mark 3
- Canon 135mm f2 L, Canon 24-70mm f2.8 L and Canon 50mm f1.2 L lenses
- Profoto B1 head with Magnum reflector
